Are you a veterinarian looking for a full or part time position? Do you wish to work in a team-oriented environment with a practice owner that is supportive and truly cares about you? Look no further! Pondview Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a veterinarian to our team.
We are a small, rural clinic that believes in providing the best care for animals. We treat primarily cats and dogs but have the tools and knowledge to care for many large and exotic species as well. We are currently a 3-doctor practice with a large, qualified support staff whom believes teamwork is the way to provide the best care for our patients.
As much as we care about our patients and clients, we care about or doctors and team members as well. We no longer offer late night hours and after-hour emergency care. We provide office time for our doctors when needed and pay for a transcription service to help our doctors with medical record entries.
Although our practice is well established (over 35 years), we have a newly remodeled facility to better accommodate our ever-growing client base. The entire clinic has been renovated and remodeled to allow us the most efficiency from our facility. We have six exam rooms, a large treatment room, a private surgery suite, office space for our doctors and managers as well as a private compassion room with its own entry door from a private parking area for patients for their end-of-life care. We also have an employee lounge with a sofa and smart TV to escape during the lunch hour.
We have sophisticated cloud-based practice management system. Our hospital is fully equipped with digital radiology, surgical laser, cold-laser therapy, large and small animal ultrasound, anesthetic monitors, pulse oximetry, CBC and chemistry blood machines, Sedivue urine analyzer and a full pharmacy.
Our goal is to provide high quality medical care with a "small town" atmosphere of caring for our clients. With our vast and extensive caseload, we offer an outstanding learning opportunity within a team-oriented atmosphere. We encourage a cooperative environment where special interests are encouraged and the doctors work as a team to deliver the best care possible to our patients. Unfamiliar areas and skills can be learned and refined.

We pay for licensing fees, AVMA and TVMA dues, a transcription service for medical records and match up to 3% for retirement.

A little about our location:
We have a family-like setting in a pleasant community. There are three local schools that provide excellent education opportunities for young families. Pettisville, one of the local schools, is well-known for the high level of education delivered to their students.
Our practice is in a rural area and the land around our building is very scenic with trees, flowers and a nice pond. We are surrounded by fields and a few houses and have a total of 9 acres which makes for a serene tranquil feel.
We are in northwest Ohio, not far from Indiana nor Michigan. The immediate area is a safe community with many parks, playgrounds and picnic areas. A quick drive on the turnpike can take you to either Toledo or Fort Wayne for shopping, colleges, zoos, and more!
