place for you! Rancocas Veterinary Associates is looking to add two exceptional small or mixed animal doctors to our family-owned practice.
We have two locations- one in Mount Laurel and the other in Tuckerton, New Jersey.
Mount Laurel is located in south central NJ approximately 25 minutes east of Philadelphia and 60 minutes west of the Jersey Shore. We moved into a newly remodeled 5,500 sq. ft. facility here in November '21.
Our Tuckerton office is right on the NJ coast on the mainland side of Long Beach Island. This office is also approximately 5,500 sq. ft. and that facility is about two years old.
We're primarily seeking applicants for either our Mt. Laurel or Tuckerton office, or those who would like to split their time between both. This is a primarily small animal position but as a mixed animal practice we welcome applicants interested in mixed animal practice as well (but this is not required).
We pride ourselves in practicing high-quality, evidence-based medicine and surgery. In addition to rotating in-house specialists in surgery, cardiology, and internal medicine we have excellent working relationships with area specialty centers. What really sets us apart from other veterinary hospitals is our people. Our staff and clients are great! In fact, we have been voted the best Veterinary Hospital in Burlington County for several years running and the Best Veterinary Hospital in Ocean County in 2021!
Our offices are paperless (AVImark) and well-equipped with digital x-ray (including digital dental x-ray), GE NexGen ultrasounds, new high-speed dental units, Bovie electrocautery, Aesculight CO2 surgical laser, ForceTriad/Ligasure vessel sealing, endoscopy, in-house IDEXX labs (Procyte, Catalyst, Sedivue), in-house pharmacy, isoflurane/sevoflurane gas anesthesia and advanced anesthetic monitoring (ECG, BP, SpO2, Temp, CO2). In addition, we have specialists in cardiology, surgery, and internal medicine that rotate through our offices on a schedule to allow us to provide a wide range of care to our clients on site.
While experience is preferred, we encourage applicants of all experience levels. For the right individual there may be opportunity for a hospital Medical Director role in the future.
Looking for work/life balance? Hours for this position are four weekday shifts from 9am-7pm with no weekends and no on call responsibilities.
