Position Number: 40010School/College: College of Arts and SciencesJob Description: The Department of English in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) invites applications for one full-time, renewable non-tenure-earning faculty position at the Instructor or Assistant Professor rank, beginning in the 2022-2023 academic year (August 15, 2022). The successful candidate will teach a 4/4 load of writing and/or writing-intensive courses, including regular composition courses and courses for students in our developmental writing track.  Active service within the English department is also expected of all full-time faculty.  Preference
