Job Description This role in Health Data Analytics will provide analytic support to business and technical teams within the CVS/Accordant organization, especially in the area of data ingestion, data quality review, patient identification, client reporting, and analysis. The Senior Engineer/Analyst must apply a detailed understanding of advanced SQL and sometimes other statistical analysis tools, such as SAS, to develop and improve analytic solutions as well as performing daily tasks such as reviewing and querying claims and other data, building reports and investigating data issues. Other key tasks include building processes for analytic needs, striving for efficiency and automation, and participating in client implementations as a data requirements subject matter expert. The Senior Engineer/Analyst must be detail-oriented, an excellent communicator and be able to work in a busy environment with structured timelines.
â¢ Design, development and delivery of analytic solutions supporting CVS Health programs and services: o Supporting member identification and management processes for chronic conditions supported by clinical team. o Workflow design & documentation for data and associated processes. o Development of trending reports to monitor process and outcomes. o Collaborating with business partners in clinical, product development and information technology teams. â¢ Requirements gathering, development of analytic plans, system design, testing, and program measurement. â¢ Advanced SQL, SAS and statistical analysis skills will be used to develop and enhance analytic solutions. â¢ Supporting and signing off on claims and eligibility ETL processes. â¢ Ad hoc deep dive review of claim and eligibility line detail to resolve content and layout issues.

Required Qualifications â¢ 4+ years of previous work experience in healthcare data analysis including experience with building solutions utilizing medical and claims data. â¢ Solid understanding of CVS Health programs and healthcare medical and pharmacy claims information to support processes that are responsive to evolving business and industry needs. â¢ 4+ years of experience using advanced technical skills, with proficiency in SQL 2012 (or other DBMS software), SAS and Microsoft Excel. â¢ Demonstrated understanding and practical experience with descriptive analyses and interpretation of results for technical and non-technical audiences. â¢ Effective in documenting systems, processes, test plans, and test results. â¢ Demonstrated experience in data gathering, requirements analysis, system design, test case development and results validation. â¢ Demonstrated application of business trends to understand the impact that trends have on analyses. â¢ Experience in using large data warehouses and functioning in a role as a subject matter expert on data domains and data integration projects. â¢ Understanding of project management concepts including communication management, requirements scope management, project plans and risk management in analytic project. â¢ Ability to ensure that analytic frameworks in projects align with broader business objectives. â¢ Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications with business partners across multiple departments at various levels in an organization. â¢ Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment and managing tight deadlines. â¢ Strong leadership skills.
