Position
Half-time faculty position in Graphic Design for the Art & Design Department starting August 2022
Qualifications
MA or MFA degree is required. Experience in teaching and scholarship is desired. Trinity seeks faculty candidates who are professing Christians and are committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. Successful candidates will possess the ability to articulate the relationship among their academic discipline, the vocational preparation of their students, and a vision for human flourishing that emerges from the Christian faith. Successful candidates will also be dedicated to personal involvement with students outside of the classroom through advising and other informal academic and cultural settings.
Responsibilities
The Art & Design Department is focused on contemporary art and design, supported by a strong lecture and gallery program. It offers BFA degrees in Studio Art and Graphic Design, BA degrees in Digital Design, Studio Art, Graphic Design, and Art Education, as well as a Bachelors of Science in Art Therapy. Our design graduates students intern with and/or work for major design and advertising firms in Chicago, and have been accepted into highly competitive Masters programs around the country. The department currently has approximately 45 majors. In fall 2008, the department moved into a state of the art 4,000 ft2 facility. Compensation
Rank and salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, pension, life insurance, and disability insurance.

Trinity Christian College is a four-year liberal arts college located in Palos Heights, Illinois, a suburb twenty miles southwest of Chicago.
