Description of the Business Line or Department
PTD sits within the GBIS HUMN team and has responsibility for providing consultancy & operational support across the Talent, Learning & Development, Performance Management & broader engagement agenda, reflecting the Group's Diversity & Inclusion targets & measures.
Summary of the key purposes of the role
??? Delivering support to the PTD team and associated HR and business stakeholders, suppliers and internal colleagues with major focus on learning and development as well as broader PTD projects within scope of the role, with particular focus on Early Careers and Apprenticeships
??? Supporting the wider PTD team in the UK to build & deliver a high- quality learning & development and engagement offer across the UK platform commensurate with the needs of the business & PTD policies & procedures
??? Support HR colleagues and business stakeholders to understand the learning and broader PTD offer and apprenticeship levy opportunity and maximize levy spend opportunity in early career roles and more broadly
??? Act as key point of contact for HRBP's, Managers & employees in matters relating to the Learning & Development offer and initiatives associated with the Apprenticeship Levy
??? Coordinate analytics & reporting around training & budgetary activities & measures for return on investment
Liaise with MyLearning resources to ensure all activities associated with the deployment of Apprenticeship programmes and other learning initiatives follow relevant policies, processes & procedures
Summary of responsibilities
??? Support broader PTD team in producing communications to raise awareness around the PTD offer, learning and engagement initiatives and Apprenticeship Levy framework & core broad curriculum offer across HR and the wider business key stakeholders
??? Together with the other Learning and Talent Advisor within PTD, act as key point of contact for training queries & logistics associated with learning programmes and initiatives and Apprenticeship programmes & ensure all requests are actioned in a timely and professional manner
??? Key point of contact for development and talent queries for Front office business units.
??? Lead on organisation and delivery of psychometric training such as team builds, open cohorts and 1:1 coaching.
??? Organization of Junior Development and High Potential Talent Programme, including responsibility of nomintations and application process.
??? Partner with Head of PTD, Talent Manager and other Talent and Learning Advisor to support transversal projects in relation to development and engagement eg. Spark talent programme management, wellbeing roadmap, Insights and Strengths roll-out, Climate Fresh facilitation
??? Coordinate output from training needs analysis associated with key BU/SU's supported within scope of the role and all Apprenticeship programmes to implement core curriculums that meet the needs of the business & are in line with overall training and AL budgets
??? Liaise with appropriate vendors approved on ROTAP to deliver appropriate programmes in line with early career strategy
??? Work with the Early Careers Programme Manager to support Graduate training programmes on an annual basis.
??? Management of Leadership and Management curriculum, including organisation of two core transversal programmes.
??? Maintain PSL & knowledge bank of programmes & materials associated with the various learning & Apprenticeship programmes within remit of the role
??? Liaise with MyLearning (LMS) teams in Bangalore & Bucharest in support of AL and broader learning core curriculum
??? Work closely with training providers to ensure all logistics & organization is deployed in the most efficient manner
??? Manage AL activities calendar & logistics & schedule/coordinate attendance on programmes
??? Manage participant certification process, associated reporting & update training plans as appropriate
??? Evaluate training activities associated with the various learning and apprenticeship programmes & provide reporting & feedback to BL's, HR & training providers as necessary
??? Coordinate regular reporting on training budgets/expenses associated with the AL and other training initiatives within remit of the role - contribute to divisional dashboards for cascade to relevant HRBP's, COO's & Business Lines including processing any payments/invoices
??? Coordinate all Apprenticeship programme logistics including booking venues, establishing trainer availability, organizing distance learning, preparing training materials, attendee lists, sending invitations, joining instructions, monitoring & reporting on attendance as required, in collaboration with the MyLearning resource in Bangalore.
Support the broader HR function in various transversal projects and initiatives as required within remit of the role, eg play active role in C&C and Social committee and HR teambuilds
Profile required
Competencies
??? Experience in an L&D advisor/coordination role ideally within Financial Services sector or similar highly regulated environment that requires tailored solutions to be delivered in a fast-paced, demanding, commercial environment
??? Exposure to professional qualifications in Financial services and digital highly desirable
??? Exposure to Apprenticeship programmes in a FS environment highly desirable
??? Experience of Learning Management Systems - high level of IT literacy
??? Experience of working closely with leading-edge training providers
??? Accredited in a psychometric such as Insights Discovery is highly desirable.
??? Comfortable presenting and delivering team training sessions. Including virtually on Teams.
??? Confident communicator, able to build rapport quickly at all levels with professional approach
??? Ability to adapt quickly & comfortably to changing requirements
??? Outstanding interpersonal skills with an engaging approach. Excellent oral & written skills with good listening/questioning skills
??? Able to work autonomously yet know when to escalate issues (especially operational risks)
??? Ability to assimilate data & provide reporting/metrics
??? Ability to work under pressure & constraints with conflicting priorities
??? Self-motivated with strong work ethic & desire to deliver to high standards
