Position Summary
The Digital Strategies & Services (DSS) Access Management Team is responsible for managing user permissions and systems access for the wide variety of applications in use by Division of Student Life & Engagement(SLE).
Reporting to the Service Desk & Access Team Manager, the Access Management Technician will primarily perform the following duties:
Managing and documenting user access permissions created, modified or disabled.
Meeting with SLE system administrators on a regular basis to maintain accurate documentation and workflow.
Performing scheduled system user permission audits to meet security and financial requirements.
Identifying user role-based access and training requirements.
Troubleshooting user access and permission issues.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired in the first two or three years of college, technical, vocational or business school; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in information technology area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications
Strong organizational and communication skills; comprehension of access management best practices; experience working with business users in defining and reviewing business process security; experience performing internal audits and/or risk assessment experience.
