Summary PositionThe Coordinator of Support for the Department of Education and Wellness, Office of Educational Outreach, and Special Projects works with academic leaders in the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education to provide support for the day-to-day functions, mission and initiatives of the school. The coordinator will work in a multi-faceted environment to effectively support students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders.

Support for Department of Education and Wellness
Take initiative to provide program and administrative support for all academic majors and minors
Work closely with the Department Chair, Deans Office Staff and Administration, and Faculty and Staff to fulfill the day-to-day responsibilities of the WWSOE
Independently maintain the daily functions of the office communication, budgeting, scheduling, reports, and other related areas.
Liaison to University and School offices, specifically the Deans Office in the WWSOE.
Responsible for working with the Coordinator of Digital Communication to update marketing materials and hold recruitment events.
Responsible for coordinating celebration events for faculty, staff and students.
Coordinate faculty searches for department.
Handle correspondence with students, alumni, families, faculty and staff on behalf of the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education
Coordinate meetings for departments and programs, including taking minutes and other documentation.
Support for Office of Education Outreach
Work closely with the Director of Education Outreach to:
Provide support of clinical placements, correspondence with school system and community stakeholders
Coordinate, plan and implement meetings for students, faculty and stakeholders related to clinical experiences
Work with the Coordinator of Digital Communications to announce and market clinical events.
Gather information and manage reports for clinical experiences
Support for Special Projects
Coordinate, plan and implement meetings and events for students, faculty, staff and stakeholders related to special projects.
Provide communication related to special projects.
Handle correspondence with students, alumni, families, faculty and staff on behalf of the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education.
Other duties as assigned.
