As a member of the IB/Risk Finance Treasury (RFT) Data Office in GSA (Global Strategic Analytics), you will be part of the team responsible for the data strategy in these business domains. Your responsibilities will range from actively defining policies and guidelines that address regulatory and internal controls to implementing technical frameworks to efficiently and responsibly provide data. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to collaborate with various groups who actively originate and consume data. What You'll Do
Setting and overseeing the execution of the Data Strategy, delivery roadmap and Key Performance Indicator at Group, Divisional/Functional and Regional level
Designing effective Data Management policies and processes which support the data strategy whilst enabling risk reduction and compliance with Data related regulatory requirements
Taking responsibility and accountability for the identification, assessment, improvement and governance of quality and fitness-for-purpose of the Bank's Data assets
Serving as trustees to ensure adequate data quality controls and data architecture are in place so that data can effectively support business processes
Ensuring that the Bank's Data Management framework are operational within the Business divisions and/or infrastructure functions
Assessing the current state of data quality within their scope of responsibility, transparently monitoring and reporting on data quality levels to impacted stakeholders and engaging with business and leadership to quantify and articulate the Business impact of data quality issues and identify and track remediation plan
How You'll Lead
Direct accountability for regulatory and internal control outcomes relevant to IB/RFT data
Coordination with Chief Data Office on different initiatives as the Bank's data programme evolves
Administration of Data Councils and Coordination with Front to Back Business Architecture
Skills You'll Need
Deep understanding of process lifecycle flows in one or more of these divisions (RFT/IB)
Thorough understanding of technical requirements to provision data and standard pathways
A project management approach to taking on tasks, completing them in a structured way with an eye to either automating or improving processes
Technical/conceptual understanding of various data implementations: relational (e.g. Structured Query Language), vectorized/time-series (e.g. Pandas, tick data), unstructured
Data analysis: ability to investigate and present details of lineage, completeness, and transformations performed upon data via flows and processes
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Ability to navigate across different divisions and coordinate across divisions
Interest in data management and data governance with a focus on improving control framework
Strong interpersonal skills and team approach
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex details
Ability to define distinct achievable goals based on broad requirements
Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $ 183,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
