Who We Are:
The Valley Veterinary Hospital is a full-service hospital that provides veterinary care to small animals, exotics, pocket pets and reptiles. We have a small-town feel, and build strong relationships with our clients and colleagues. Our advanced technology includes digital and dental X-rays, ultrasound, EKG, and in-house labs, providing the tools you need to deliver outstanding care. We also utilize a dictation service to assist in medical record efficiency. We have relationships with an ACVS board-certified surgeon for orthopedic and advanced surgeries, and an ABVP board-certified veterinarian to perform ultrasounds and echocardiograms.
We are proud of our compassionate, energetic team of skilled RVTs and assistants who are always ready to help each other excel. Our DVMs work closely with our RVTs and assistants to provide individualized and flexible care to their patients. We value adaptability, collaboration, and a willingness to guide clients on personalized treatment plans. We are open to both an experienced veterinarian who can step into a leadership role, a new grad veterinarian who can fit into our structured mentorship program, or someone in between!
Our Mentorship Program provides:
- Opportunity to start your career in a healthy and supportive environment
- Individualized Mentorship Plan
- Paired with a mentor for 1-year
- Up to 6-weeks of doubled-up cases or sooner depending on your confidence level
- Solo surgical cases, when you feel ready, with on-site support
- Longer appointment times
- Bi-weekly rounds
