University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ('UEC') supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We're responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.
Position Summary
Temporary, Full Time, Non Exempt, Benefited position through 12/31/2025 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
Salary: $4,679.00-$5,200.00 per month
Location: CSUSB Campus and may be required to visit and/or work from off-campus IECE office locations as needed.
Work Schedule
40 hours per week. Schedule to be arranged, but typically, Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM though some nights, weekend work may be required.

Typical Activities
Under minimal supervision of the IECE Director, the Administrative Support Coordinator will work independently to:
Coordinate the administrative support component of existing IECE and SoE programs and projects; plan and execute projects with broad and visible impact that may involve coordination with external stakeholders and campus departments.
Coordinate, schedule and assist in delivering a number of recurring, and one-time, events and meetings; including but not limited to community and campus events, monthly meetings, annual retreats, and strategic grant and program meetings.
Prepare, edit, and format documents, such as memos, reports, and invoices. Assist in the monitoring and reporting of budgets for programs and grants
Maintain databases, filing systems, and contact lists.
Respond to inquiries, provide information, and communicate with staff, faculty, clients, and stakeholders.
Oversee general office operations including monitoring and ordering office supplies and food deliveries.
Respond to inquiries including answering/directing phone calls, emails and other digital queries and correspondence.
Coordinate domestic and international travel for employees.
Provide directions to support staff and/or student assistants and be fully accountable for the workflow and completion of work for the assigned support staff.
Limited local travel to events and IECE off campus locations.
Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience working in an administrative support coordination role. Ideal candidates would have knowledge of and experience with the operations of grant-funded programs, ancillary units, and academic units.
Other:
Must be a motivated self-starter that is able to 'think like an owner' and be results oriented.
The ability to independently handle multiple work unit priorities and projects is required. The ability to apply independently a wide variety of policies and procedures where specific guidelines may not exist is required.
The ability to handle effectively a broader range of interpersonal contacts, including those at a higher level is required along with the ability to work cooperatively with a diverse group of people.
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in a business or a closely related field is strongly desired.
