Zions Bancorporation is accepting applications for our Business Systems Analyst - Business Resilience to join our Business Continuity & Resiliency team. Position can be located in Phoenix, Denver, Las Vegas, Houston or working out of Zions new Tech Center in Midvale, UT. Position offers a 3/2 hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
Manage Business Resilience data analysis, results and reporting to support management decision making
Responsible to work with various business users to review and analyze data, programs, processes, procedures, systems and make recommendations for improvements and changes to drive business performance.
Prepares and shares data with other team members and departments.
Responsible for creating and monitoring reports to identify trends, issues and opportunities.
Responsible for supporting various system functions, including: Incident, change, system and project management.
Responsible to maintain and troubleshoot internal websites to support department data and information sharing with other team members and internal partners
Responsible for issue and root cause analysis.
Using business data to formulate proposals for new procedures and/ or processes.
Develop and run queries, reports, and updates against databases
Responsible to monitor and test business and application controls
Acts as a liaison with management and staff to resolve issues as needed.
May performs project management functions as either a project manager or team member.
24 X 7 On Call responsibilities for various applications.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field
or a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Management Information Systems or a related field of study or the foreign academic equivalent
2-4+ years experience in business analysis, processes, procedures, project management, multiple technologies, frameworks, etc or other directly related experience.
A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

Advanced knowledge of business systems and applications, incident and change management, website maintenance and support, project and systems management.
Strong working knowledge of department specific processes and procedures.
Requires advanced analytical, organizational, trouble shooting and problem solution skills.\
Ability to elicit, gather and analysis data.
Excellent presentation and technical and non-technical communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to function in a consultative role.
Ability to work with vendors.
Requires excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.
Must be able to meet deadlines.
Advanced knowledge of various software programs, including word processing, spreadsheets, reporting and presentation software, etc.
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of
Level I: $64,000 - $75,000 annually
Level II: $74,000 - $93,000 annually
depending on job-related factors such as level of experience and location.
