Center for Neural Circuit Mapping (CNCM) an inter/multidisciplinary, neurobiology-based virology-based Research unit at University of California, Irvine (UCI) in the School of Medicine (SOM). Under the director, the activities of the center include a bi-monthly seminar series, T32 student training grant, yearly conference with other research activities such as a viral core viral, and various cutting-edge equipment such as the MerScope and Sony FCAS Cell sorter.
Responsible for the administrative oversight and resource management of the Center for Neural Circuit Mapping (CNCM) an inter/multidisciplinary, neurobiology-based and virology-based Research unit at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) in the School of Medicine (SOM). The incumbent has direct responsibility for day-to- day management, analysis and monitoring of all financial transactions related to purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, recharge, travel/entertainment and other department financial activities in a timely manner. Uses Kuali Financial System to create financial transactions. Responsible for assisting all fiscal closing activities and procedures for Center accounts. Serves as center resource for interpreting and implementing UCI and sponsor policy and procedures. Responsible for assisting in the Viral core in financial transactions and billing alongside and center recharges. This position is 100%. Must be able to attend in person seminars on Tuesdays 10am and annual conference. Some overtime may be required. May require in-person attendance.
