As a Full-Time ExemptDean of Instruction - Allied Health,you will support the mission of the college and Academic Services? priorities. This position provides leadership and administrative oversight for the Allied Health programs at Umpqua Community College (UCC). This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality instruction, maintaining program accreditation, strengthening relationships with secondary education partners, expanding community partnerships, and promoting student success while growing Allied Health programming. The Dean will collaborate with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to align Allied Health programs with the evolving needs of the healthcare industry and the college?s strategic priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in healthcare, business, education, or a related field.
Three (3) to five (5) years of progressive and successful academic leadership in program development and management (ideally in allied health).
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain partnerships with industry partners and community organizations.
Proven problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze challenges, develop innovative solutions, and implement strategies to achieve institutional and programmatic goals.
Strong project management and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation.
Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications:
Community College experience in allied health is preferred.
Knowledge of the unique allied healthcare challenges in rural settings is a plus.
