What will I be doing in this role?
As a member of the Cedars-Sinai International care team, the Service Excellence Program Manager will be responsible for developing and driving programs and initiatives to facilitate the healthcare needs of our international patients.
The Service Excellence Program Manager plans, organizes, directs, and manages all program aspects supporting the Cedars-Sinai International Lounge. This role provides leadership, guidance, and direction for day-to-day program operations including, overseeing services, accommodations and strategic partnerships for international patients receiving care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The Service Excellence Program Manager leads and contributes to the short-term and long-term strategic planning, design, development and implementation of program objectives, processes, and standards.
Department-Specific Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
Develops and manages programs that support the Cedars-Sinai International Lounge to assist in providing highly personalized healthcare for international patients including the day-to-day lounge operations and administration.
Plans and implements operational processes and/or guidelines related to meeting the needs of international patients receiving care at Cedars-Sinai, including administrative services, meal and dietary coordination, language access services, and other accommodations
Interfaces with internal and external key stakeholders and representatives from external agencies/organizations in the management and seamless delivery of program services
Identifies and manages all logistical actions needed to effectively manage the pre-arrival, arrival and departure services and accommodations for international patients.
Provides data and/or summary findings to internal program stakeholders, department leadership, and/or cross-functional teams and makes recommendations to Cedars-Sinai International leadership team
Develops and implements any applicable communication, education, training, on-boarding and/or mentorship pertaining to programs and services supporting the Cedars-Sinai International Lounge
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Management, Business, or related field is required.
Five (5) years of progressive experience in Management, Program or Project Management required.
Experience/Skills we are seeking:
Progressive experience in a service focused industry such as healthcare, hospitality/restaurant, travel, or entertainment with operational program, or project management responsibilities.
Experienced in delivering sincere hospitality and creating personable connections that makes others feel warm, welcomed, safe and cared for.
Excellent ability to communicate effectively and establish rapport with senior leaders, internal cross-functional partners, and external partners.
Ability to collaborate by developing and maintaining strong relationships and fostering and inclusive and respectful team
