Brown University’s School of Professional Studies (SPS) brings a Brown education to new audiences of learners: those focused on development of skills and a breadth of knowledge necessary for professional success and leadership. We leverage Brown’s intellectual centers of excellence, rigorous teaching, and developmental approach to learning in a range of programs, including serving students outside of traditional degree programs. We partner with Brown departments, centers, institutes, and schools to develop degree and non-degree programs, and to support the recruitment, retention, and placement success of master’s students, including traditional, non-traditional, and professional students.
Responsibilities:
We seek an Associate Director of Masters Admissions Systems to join the enrollment team at the School of Professional Studies!
The Associate Director has primary responsibility for leading all activities in SPS related to the management of admissions systems and the processing of applications for ~25 master’s programs across campus. The Associate Director is the primary developer, implementer and administrator of the CRM and its use with degree and non-degree programs, as well as its integration with other university systems.
Working closely with the Director of Enrollment Management and the Dean, this individual is responsible for the functional and technical management of the School’s CRM (Slate) and interface with the University’s student information systems (Banner). The Associate Director is the Slate team captain (lead) for the School, providing project management for new implementations and improvements, is responsible for creating data reports to analyze the efficacy of recruitment and admissions efforts, and will work collaboratively with Brown departments including Office of Information Technology, Financial Aid, the Registrar, the Graduate School, and Brown’s academic Schools and Departments to support master’s enrollment functions. The person in this role will represent SPS in campus-wide meetings and regional and national conferences related to technology. The Associate Director serves as the primary technical contact with the admissions CRM vendor, Technolutions.
