Job Function:
Reporting to the Associate Director of Digital Communications and Associate Director of Communications and Social Media, this role is responsible for supporting the digital communications strategy, website and social media content across multiple platforms. The Digital Content Coordinator will manage the Barnard President's social media channels, and will write, track, pitch, and craft original content for the College's main social media channels and website. The Content Coordinator will also provide web consultation, production, user support, training, and documentation for users of the website properties and platforms maintained by the Communications Office. The Content Coordinator will contribute to the growth of Barnard's overall website content strategy through assisting with managing and reviewing website content, as well as repurposing content across platforms. They will coordinate with other web and social media managers across the College to offer assistance as needed. They also will work with communications colleagues to use search engine-optimized content to boost audience engagement, grow the College's likes and followers, and, ultimately, its public profile.

Required Qualification Summary:
● Bachelor's degree required.
● 3-5 years of social media experience, blogging, content marketing, and developing communities experience
● Portfolio with current samples that present range of experience across digital platforms with content focusing on telling a clear brand story (from emotional to functional)
