Job Overview: The Director of Admissions is responsible for the planning, managing, and evaluating of all recruitment and admissions processes in the traditional undergraduate program. The director will hire and train all admissions counselors and work collaboratively with all offices (i.e., financial aid, the registrar, and the business office) of the College to meet recruitment and enrollment goals.
Essential Functions: Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment/Enrollment:
Monitor the daily operations of the traditional undergraduate admissions team
In conjunction with the Vice President of Enrollment Management, oversee and execute the vision for enrollment services, including creating 12-month recruitment plans and enrollment goals.
Use CRM strategies and software to track prospective and new student counts.
Analyze and use prospective student and new student tracking reports to make business decisions.
Collaborate with Marketing to create external printed and digital material.
Cultivate relationships with and create content for school counselor communication throughout the year.
Monitor and assign geographic territories to admissions counselors.
Supervisory:
Hire, train, and conduct performance evaluations for the admissions staff.
Direct workflow and delegate tasks as needed to facilitate the admissions process.
Manage and track all timesheets and PTO requests.
Operations:
Work collaboratively with College offices (financial aid, business office, and the registrars office) to ensure compliance with new student acceptance.
Attend college meetings and committees as assigned.
Other responsibilities as assigned
Marketing:
Work with the VP of Marketing for branding and publicizing traditional undergraduate programs.
Analyze the success of individual marketing campaigns through prospective student tracking.
Plan and coordinate all events (ex: Open House, Accepted Student Day, Saturday Sessions).
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to represent Albertus Magnus in a variety of situations with a diverse population of prospective students, faculty, and staff.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational, planning, and project management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite and Google products; CRM system experience required (preferably Slate).
Ability to solve problems at customer service and administrative levels.
Five or more years of experience working in higher education admissions, with at least two years in a senior admissions role.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
Work Schedule Requirements:
Work hours are Monday - Friday, with evening and weekend hours expected.

The employer covers tuition remission after 90 days of employment and covers 100 % (employees responsible for books and technology fees).
