Assistant Professor - Department of English and Modern Languages
This faculty member will join our English and Modern Language Faculty on a full time, 10 month contract. Teaching 24 hours per year (with course releases), this person will serve as the Lead Faculty in Composition and Rhetoric, helping design and launch a new two course program that integrates learning and synthesizes student growth in Composition and Communication. This faculty member will partner with a Lead Faculty in Communications in order to train faculty on a comprehensive and integrated approach to the teaching of rhetoric. Lipscomb Composition and Communication courses will be taught as co-requisites, and students will develop transferable skills to increase their rhetorical agility in multi-modal communicative endeavors.
