General Description:
Responsible for performing all aspects of Printing Services' daily operations.
Characteristics, Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing & managing all aspects of Printing Services during the absence of the Manager of Printing Services and/or as directed by the Manager of Printing Services.
Individual is responsible performing all production aspects of Printing Services.
Set-up, operate & maintain Black & White High Speed Multi-Function Copiers, Multi-Function Color Copiers and Wide-Format Printers in Printing Services environment. Perform all related assignments.
Set-up & manipulate digital files to meet Printing Services production requirements.
Set-up, operate and maintain finishing equipment including power cutter, binding systems, folding equipment, padding press, and laminator. Perform all related assignment.
Perform all assignments related to mounting & trimming wide-format projects.
Review and process incoming requests. Communicate with requestors to ensure requests are correctly processed.
Handle & inspect incoming packages and deliveries arriving from Printing Services users, Mailroom/Receiving and external vendors.
Make necessary pick-up and deliveries.
Assist in monitoring & maintaining the College's fleet of Multi-Function Copiers. Assist users as required.
Provide customer service and assistance to members of the College Community using the Printing Services.
Process & handle incoming & outgoing print requests. Communicate with requestors so needs are met.
Provide customer service and assistance to members of the College Community using the Printing Services.
Perform record keeping related to all aspects of Printing Services .
Monitor, maintain, report inventory levels, and order supplies related to daily operations.
Communicate and interact with vendors and service technicians related to Printing Services daily operations.
Cross-trained and perform in all aspect of Printing Services and College operations as assigned by the Manager of Printing Services or as required by the College.
Perform & assist in any/and all duties assigned by the Manager of Printing Services or as required by the College.
Education Requirements:
High School graduate required.
Experience:
Preferred Experience
Operator experience in Copy Center / Print Shop environment.
Experience operating & maintaining Black & White High Speed Multifunction Copiers, Multi-Function Color Copiers and Wide-Format Printer in Printing Services environment.
Experience using Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Acrobat software, PDF files, and related Graphic Design software applications.
Experience setting-up, operating & maintaining finishing equipment in a Printing Services environment including folders, cutters and bindery equipment.
Competencies and Skills Required:
Preferred Experience

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
This position's duties are normally performed in a typical interior/residence work environment, based on the activity scheduled.
This position requires constant standing and movement throughout the typical workday.
Some physical effort required. The employee must capable of lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds.
No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
