Reporting to the Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI) chief research officer, the IDI Genomics and Microbiology Solutions (IDI-GEMS) lab director serves as a key member of the IDI senior leadership team to provide high-level oversight of the IDI-GEMS laban earnings operation with a broader focus on catalyzing and enhancing interdisciplinary research. The IDI-GEMS lab director is responsible for the establishing strategic operational goals and outcomes for IDI-GEMS to ensure alignment with the IDIs strategic plan and thrust areas, including expanding the internal and external client base and ensuring long-term financial sustainability and efficient business operations.
