STRATEGICLEADERSHIP 45% The Associate Provost of Learner Operations provides strategic leadership to coordinate and integrate all student academic support programs. The person in this position will lead coordinated and comprehensive enrollment management efforts to help the University best fulfill its mission. This individual will help position the University to successfully manage the changing patterns of student recruitment, enrollment, and retention and degree progression; including collaborating and coordinating with the Graduate School wherever appropriate. The position also collaborates with senior leadership within and outside of the Academic Affairs Division to assure alignment with Divisional programs, e.g., enrollment strategy, orientation, student transitions and professional preparation. This position will provide leadership for academic support programs for students and will design and lead initiatives and discussions that improve the student experience and increase retention, persistence, and graduation rates. This position reports directly to the Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
ADMINISTRATIVEOVERSIGHT 45% The position has administrative oversight for the following programs and offices: Undergraduate Admissions, Office of Online Learning, Academic Outreach, and Academic Innovation, and the Office of Academic Success.
OTHER 10% As one of the senior officers reporting to the Provost, this position also assists the Provost in continuously improving the effectiveness of Academic Affairs, including building and leveraging internal and external relationships, attracting appropriate grant funding to the University of benefit to learners and learner operations; and other duties as assigned by the Provost.

Minimum Education/Experience:
A terminal degree with seven years of progressive leadership experience in higher education OR a master's degree with nine years of progressive leadership experience in higher education.
