The Human Language Technology Center of Excellence (HLTCOE) at Johns Hopkins University seeks to hire research associates to support research in the area of speech and language processing. Applicants must have a Master's degree or equivalent experience in one of the following areas: software engineering, interface design, project management, machine learning, human language technologies. A successful candidate will be integrated into one of our existing research teams to conduct world class research and development on such problems as authorship identification, information extraction, knowledge graph population, machine translation, multilingual information retrieval, speaker and language identification, and speech recognition. Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, competency in programming, and the ability and motivation to work in a team.
