Provide receptionist support to the Health and Wellness Center, including answering phones, making appointments, responding to emails, maintaining medical records, issuing insurance referrals for specialist appointments and ensuring compliance with immunization requirements. 1. Performs medical office front desk and receptionist responsibilities *Acts as receptionist and coordinates all front desk operations *Answers phones; acts as reference for students’ questions *Accurately enters appointment reason and type when scheduling *Ensures the smooth operation of daily activities, reconciles cash payments and ensures immunization compliance
2. Performs administrative support responsibilities for the department *Assist with all aspects of incoming class paperwork. *Processes and organizes all incoming student health and immunization records *Assist students with making specialist appointments and procuring transportation when necessary, issue insurance referrals, obtain insurance preauthorization when appropriate *Assist with ordering office and medical supplies *Maintains both paper and electronic student health records
3. Assist with Immunization Compliance Management *Collect and enter immunization data into electronic health record system *Effectively communicate with students regarding immunization compliance deficiencies *Run reports to track immunization compliance
4. Assist with Budgetary Processes *Posts student fees to Banner *Acts as backup for processing payments of bills through Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions *Processes student cash transactions for applicable charges

The duties of the position do not allow for a remote work option; the employee in this position will be required to work on campus where they can be fully accessible to the Lehigh community.
This position will work 11 months per year, having the option of taking off the month of December or June

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three to five years related work experience
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a high level of customer service required
Ability to build, foster and maintain positive professional relationships
Excellent organizational skills, time management and sound judgment
Adept use of digital communication preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and a high degree of initiative for bringing tasks to completion
Solid writing ability, attention to detail and organizational skills
Solid computer skills with experience using word processing, spreadsheet and database software
Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position
