Job Summary: This position will provide administrative support to the Department of Biological Systems Engineering. This position will support research for approximately 15 Principal Investigators, through the entire life-cycle, including pre-award and post-award activities, including sub-awards and subcontracts. The position will provide pre-award support in helping PIs to draft and submit proposals to both federal and non-federal sponsors. In conjunction with the Department Administrator and Financial Specialist, the position post-award activities include monitoring project budgets, subawards, and assisting with no-cost extensions and re-budgets.
