Summary
Nashoba Brooks School seeks candidates for the part-time position of instructional technology intern. The Nashoba Brooks School internship is designed to support the development of aspiring IT professionals and leaders in education. Nashoba Brooks is committed to using innovative instruction, including school-provided one device per student and design thinking theory, to equip our students with the tools, resources, and skills necessary to be successful in the 21st century. This is an hourly position with up to 20 hours of work per week, during the 2022-2023 academic year. The instructional technology intern will report to the director of educational technology and innovation.
Specific Responsibilities
Collaborate effectively with other members of the Information Services team and teachers to initiate and support educational technology integration throughout the School.
Field “techhelp tickets” and help solve common IT problems in the classroom and building spaces.
Act as tech support for school events.
Assist with evaluating, promoting, and using existing and emerging technologies to support the mission of the School, including proposing appropriate acquisitions.
Assist in operating and managing the STEAM lab space and equipment.
Assist teachers in developing troubleshooting skills to resolve technical problems independently as needed.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience working with school aged (3-14) children and teachers.
Strong knowledge of Apple and Chromebook devices.
Strong knowledge of Google Workspace for Education.
Strong technology troubleshooting skills.
