Willow Bridge is currently hiring for an experienced National Transitions Accounting Coordinator. We are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded person who enjoys building relationships with their team and with customers.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Transition Coordination:
Schedule and support transition calls with Regional and National teams.
Serve as the primary project manager for accounting onboarding new properties and work closely with Regional Transitions Coordinators on due diligence and offboarding of properties.
Complete Basecamp projects and roles for all property transitions.
Track and ensure the completion of all property transition tasks in Basecamp for all accounting functions and supporting departments.
Champion a thoughtful, engaging, and impactful culture during the process.
Support:
Provide transition follow-up support as needed, including onsite team virtual reviews.
Assist with Due Diligence support as needed.
Remain up to date in all areas of property management and accounting processes and policies within Willow Bridge Property Company..
System Conversion and Administration:
Request emails for new construction projects.
Complete New Construction Yardi system conversions as part of the transition process.
Advance accounting conversion files and note improvement functions to more accurately and timely model future transitions.
Process Improvement:
Provide suggestions and solutions to enhance the property transition process.
Special Projects:
Lead and execute special projects as assigned by the VP Accounting Services
Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects to improve overall operational efficiency.
Specific Accounting Conversion functions:
Management Change
Manage manual entries for accounts receivable, delinquency, security deposits, prepaids and any additional opening balance transitions.
Setup a bank account with cash management questionnaire, client review and legal requirements for state.
Ensure all relevant data and information for conversion is received and establish an Accounting Report data room.
Work with each assets priority schedule to meet incoming client start date.
Manage full cycle accounting for first full month as staffing timing needs are assessed by Regional Accounting Controllers.
Sales
Manage manual entries for accounts receivable, delinquency, security deposits, prepaids and any additional opening balance transitions.
Setup a bank account with cash management questionnaire, client review and legal requirements for state.
Ensure all relevant data and information for conversion is received and establish an Accounting Report data room
Manage Proration schedule for both incoming and outgoing proration schedules. Communicating frequently with managing ownership. If a retention another accounting transition coordinator will be in place to support either seller client of purchaser.
New Construction
Manage manual entries for accounts receivable, delinquency, security deposits, prepaids and any additional opening balance transitions.
Setup a bank account with cash management questionnaire, client review and legal requirements for state.
Ensure all relevant data and information for conversion is received and establish an Accounting Report data room.
Manage Preleasing accounting requirements
Manage a cash reconciliation for funding and construction draws.
Qualifications
Critical Skills & Qualifications:
At least 2-5 years of property accounting experience including in-depth knowledge of all property management systems and programs that are performed at a site level.
Bachelorâ™s Degree preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Smartsheet, Yardi, Entrata, OneSite.
Highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently and in a team environment.
Exceptional listening skills, ability to problem solve, and patience with team members of all skill levels.
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple priorities and prioritize effectively to ensure successful completion of projects.
