Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for a Golf Course Superintendent!

The Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for the maintenance, operations and management of the Aileron golf course. The Golf Course Superintendent will carefully manage the maintenance inputs to the golf course while conserving and protecting natural resources and will directly influence the playing areas and landscapes with which golfers interact.

All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices and procedures. 

Minimum Requirements

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Sunseeker Resorts performs criminal background checks on all candidates. Candidates will need to be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. • Minimum 3-5 years in a Golf Course Superintendent role with previous supervisory experience in a club or golf course setting
• Advanced knowledge of agronomy and turfgrass management practices; a working knowledge of golf facility construction principles, practices and methods; and a thorough understanding of the rules and strategies of the game of golf.
• Knowledge of current federal, state and local laws and regulations affecting the management of golf course operations
• Florida Pesticide Applicators License in good standing
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
  
  

OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines
• Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment
• Strong leadership abilities, sound judgment, superior problem solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent organizational, analytical and project management skills, with particular attention to quality and detail
• Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
