We are pleased to announce that the Department of Radiology at Stanford University School of Medicine is recruiting a board certified or a board eligible radiologists for our expanding practice at our community hospital system located in the East Bay. The positions are part of a growing clinical practice and candidates will have the opportunity to shape and build the practice with support from Stanford University School of Medicine’s Department of Radiology.
These are faculty positions within the Community Radiology Division of Stanford University Department of Radiology. The positions will primarily consist of clinical duties and are open rank in the Clinician Educator Line. The major criteria for appointment in the Clinician Educator Line is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care and clinical teaching appropriate to the programmatic need. Academic rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidates.
The ideal candidate for each of these positions will be energetic, have excellent interpersonal skills, and have an interest in integrating into the referring community. The clinical duties involve providing diagnostic imaging services for a community hospital and outpatient centers in the East Bay, including participation in on-call activities, in the areas of Body Imaging/General Diagnostic, Breast Imaging, or Cardiovascular/Thoracic Imaging/General Diagnostic. The applicants will have an M.D. or M.D./PhD degree(s) or equivalent, fellowship training in their specialty or subspecialty, and have a California Medical license prior to appointment start date. The Breast Imaging applicants will have completed a minimum 6-month fellowship in Breast Imaging, be credentialed in mammography as required by MQSA, and must have ability to interpret digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, breast MRI examinations, and be able to perform core biopsies and preoperative needle localizations using x-ray, ultrasound and MRI guidance.

It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
