Description:

Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Project Manager (Data & AI), who is responsible for managing the delivery of data-driven and AI-focused projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
• PMP Certification is a plus
• Senior PM experience in Data & AI organization/projects
• Familiar with Agile Methodology
• Strong SDLC awareness
• Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing the Scrum Agile Projects 
• Experience with MS Project 
• Experience in High Visibility projects 
• Comfortable with C-Level Communications and presentations 
• Experience with Resource Management  and Schedule Management 
• Energy/Utilities experience could be helpful

Responsibilities: 

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of AI and data-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders (business units, IT teams, data scientists, and external partners) to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Ensure alignment with business goals
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for AI and data initiatives
• Identify potential risks and issues related to data and AI projects, proactively manage mitigation plans, and report progress to senior management
• Work with cross-functional teams (data engineers, data scientists, developers) to ensure smooth collaboration and delivery. Oversee team performance and remove obstacles to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Utilize deep knowledge of AI, machine learning, data analytics, and emerging technologies to guide projects, ensuring that technical solutions are scalable and aligned with best practices
• Track and report on project progress, adjusting timelines and priorities as needed. Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements
• Develop and manage budgets for data and AI projects, ensuring resources are efficiently allocated, and costs are controlled
• Promote the use of best practices and methodologies in data and AI project management to continuously improve delivery effectiveness
