Independently creates appropriate structures to ensure design, support and implementation of major initiatives, identified and prioritized, with input from FPO leadership. Interacts regularly with UCSF Faculty Practice leadership, including President, COO, VP Finance. Reports directly to President of FPO. Hires and fires staff needed to implement prioritized projects, managing interactions with HR, LER, counselling services, etc. Directly manages the projects and project staff members to ensure timely, high quality, measurable improvements. Designs organizational structure required for such projects, financial needs and returns, and metrics by which success is measured.
