Browne Academy seeks a lower school art teacher for Preschool 3’s-4th Grade for the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic, and proactive educator who is passionate about working with young students. Responsibilities

• Using a variety of art media in teaching, including drawing, painting, digital media, and other 2D/3D media
• Curating and displaying student art exhibits

• Working collaboratively and effectively with peers to support student achievement and curriculum development and ensuring integration with other subjects 
• Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation, respect for diversity, and collaboration
• Manage art supplies and equipment, ensuring that they are used safely and effectively
• Using technology to facilitate instruction and enhance learning
• Adhering to the school’s curriculum, preparing and executing thoughtful units of study designed to reach the different learning styles of the students in the classroom 
• Regularly assessing student learning using a variety of tools and means 
• Maintaining regular communication with parents and administrators concerning student progress or issues
• Attending regular faculty meetings 
• Being an engaged participant in the Browne community
• All other duties as assigned by the Associate Head of School
