Dr. Jamie Tam is seeking a postdoctoral associate to join her research team at the Tobacco Economics and Modeling of Policy Outcomes (TEMPO) Lab located in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Yale School of Public Health. Dr. Tam uses simulation modeling to evaluate tobacco control interventions among high-priority populations, such as people with mental health conditions, pregnant individuals, and socioeconomically disadvantaged groups. The individual will contribute to the development of simulation models of substance use and addiction (including cigarette, e-cigarette, alcohol, and/or cannabis use) among high priority populations. Analyses will use models to evaluate the long-term disease, mortality, and economic outcomes associated with policy intervention.
