Position DescriptionThe Metadata Archivist is responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing descriptive metadata for Center for the History of Medicine, Countway Library, collections, including institutional records, manuscript collections, objects and artifacts, and published materials, and provides guidance and support for metadata creation and management across systems in use at the Center to optimize digitization and discovery, including ArchivesSpace, Alma/HOLLIS, the Dataverse, the Digital Repository Service (DRS), Omeka, and The Museum System (TMS).
