Overview
The Associate Director of Alumni Relations Events, Communications, and Strategic Programming position plays a critical role in facilitating and increasing alumni engagement opportunities as well as directing regional and international programming. The Associate Director serves as a key member of the Development and Alumni Relations Team (DART) responsible for overseeing the coordination of signature annual events and reunion programming - providing direction and support for the team to ensure efficient and accurate execution. This role will design, communicate, and implement reunion programs and communications that reach, serve, and engage alumni enhancing the overall reunion experience. Additionally the role will organize and promote our annual regional and international alumni outreach directing programming.
Responsibilities
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: 3+ years This position requires a minimum of three years' relevant professional-level experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience: 3+ years . Excellent computer skills including the Microsoft suite: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Experienced user of Cvent event platform strongly preferred.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong candidates will present related experience in implementation, project management, and alumni event management and communication. Evidence of proven skills including superb oral and written communication, collaboration, self-motivation, and emotional intelligence. Candidates share community values, embracing diversity, respecting everyone, and striving for excellence. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work with a diverse population. Ability to be pro-active, adaptable, results-driven, prioritize and effectively manage the demands and assignments. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skill. Proficiency with word processing, database and spreadsheet applications.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $75,000.00 to USD $95,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
