Junior Marketing Coordinator
Are you a jack-of-all trades in marketing? Do you enjoy engaging on social media platforms, but would rather have someone else make the content for you? Well, you found the right role! The Junior Marketing Coordinator will focus on managing social media logistics and supporting sponsorships and events for both Mishimoto and Borne Off-Road. This role spans geographic locations, including the USA, UK, and EU. While a dedicated content creator handles content production, this role ensures seamless execution and engagement across platforms. The Junior Marketing Coordinator will also work closely with Marketing Coordinator I on sponsorships and events. This position will report to the Borne Off-Road Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Scheduling & Engagement:
Schedule, post, and coordinate content across all Mishimoto and Borne Off-Road social media platforms
Monitor and engage with customers fostering organic growth and brand loyalty
Conduct research to identify trends and opportunities to enhance social media strategy
Collaborate with the content creator to align posts with campaigns and brand initiatives
Step in to assist with content capture (photo/video) as needed during events or on-site activities
Attend weekly marketing, product, and engineering meetings as needed to align timing for social media posts
Sponsorships and Brand Partnerships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, ensuring contractual deliverables are met
Manage the sponsorship database and track performance metrics
Source new sponsorship opportunities within various social communities/ platforms
Coordinate with third-party teams to uphold brand standards
Fulfill requests for promotional materials and marketing support
Event Coordination:
Plan, execute, and analyze industry events in collaboration with Marketing Team
Attend events to represent the brands, set up and break down displays, and engage with the community
Oversee influencer and vehicle logistics for events
Work with external vendors and partners to ensure successful event execution
Oversee the event workflow from start to finish making sure all steps are completed
Collect data and write event recaps for management review
General Marketing Support:
Being an all-around good guy or gal and giving the marketing team additional support as needed
Other duties as assigned
Your Creds:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
1-3 years of corporate marketing experience, including social media management
1-2 years of professional social media account experience working with a variety of channels including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, etc.
Experience with social media scheduling platforms
1-2 years of event coordinating experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Extra Awesomeness:
Automotive enthusiasm and/or industry experience
Experience managing sponsorships or influencer accounts
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
Normal office environment with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work outside standard work hours and travel for events
Must be willing to step into hands-on tasks as needed
