Overview
In partnership with the Events Manager, the Events Administrator for the NYU Ecosystem Hub will manage the execution and ideation of School-wide events, including scheduling, venue set-up, and managing technology requirements. This position will act as the primary liaison for faculty, media, external partners, and contractors, activity organization, communication, and contribute to strategic development and providing support to internal Tandon units and partners for the planning and delivery of faculty and student-facing events, as well as recruitment-related activities. Manage virtual and hybrid events, ensuring smooth operation of all technical aspects (e.g., live streaming); and managing event registration and ticketing systems. This is a 1 year grant funded position.
Responsibilities
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in management, business, marketing, education sciences, social sciences, law, global affairs, gender studies, or other related disciplines.
Preferred Education: Master's Degree or Ph.D. in a related area is preferred but not required.
Required Experience: 3+ years Previous working experience in project administration and/or events administration (coordination, organization of events, projects, launch of startup) in Academia, Industry or Startups, supervision, managing budgets or equivalent combination of education and experience

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $77,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
