In coordination with the Director, provide support and assist in the management and administration of the NYU Tulsa Global Academic Center (GAC). Students attend class in the multifunctional academic center and reside in locally arranged apartments. The GAC features classrooms rooms, study spaces, offices, and serves as a venue for dynamic public programming. The primary focus of the position is to manage, plan, and direct the day-to-day facility operations and administrative services that support NYU's educational mission. This includes building operations, custodial and security services, classroom management, technological support, vendor and strategic partnerships for student accommodations, classroom, event space usage, and other services.A secondary focus of the position is to provide financial oversight. This includes preparing annual operating budgets; monitoring spending; reviewing and approving expenses; processing bills and invoices and reconciling financial accounts. This position acts as a liaison with various offices in New York, primarily the finance staff in the Office of Global Programs. NYU Tulsa is a project that is in part supported by the George Kaiser Family Foundation (GKFF). This position will support maintaining a relationship with GKFF specific to facilities and administration of this program. This position is a one-year funded position but there is an expectation that this position will continue as the program matures and advances in Tulsa.

Responsibilities
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree preferably in building management, administrative support, business administration, accounting or related coursework in business, finance, or real estate.
Preferred Education: Master's Degree Master's degree, preferably in building management, administrative support, business administration, accounting or related coursework in business, finance, or real estate.
Required Experience: 3+ years progressively responsible experience in facilities management, administrative oversight, supervision of staff, financial analysis and reporting and business accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience: 5+ years
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong leadership and project management skills as well as strong analytical, communications and interpersonal skills. Prior work experience in budget analysis and/or management. Prior work experience with purchasing and contract management. Proactive and detail oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills to do several tasks at the same time, quickly analyze and resolve specific problems, and cope with deadlines. Strong technical skills in financial analysis and computerized system management. An ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people with varying skills and competencies. Proactive with exceptional problem-solving skills. Strong technical skills in accounting and computerized system management. Strong leadership and project management skills as well as strong analytical, communications and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary for this position is USD $60,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
