Overview
Assist in the review and analysis of policy systems and administrative processes which support units within Global Enrollment Management and Student Success (GEMSS) and across the University, including Admissions, Registrar, Student Success, Institutional Research, and secondary/backup focus on Financial Aid and Title IV Programs. Oversee the management of data integrity, provide training, and create documentation throughout NYU representing GEMSS. Maintain advanced knowledge of University system functionality, analyze business processes/procedures, and identify dependencies and implications of change to various functional areas and integration points. Research, test, gather and review data and risk assessment information within GEMSS and impacts throughout NYU. As part of the Enrollment Management Compliance department, communicate and coordinate effectively and professionally with business owners to ensure accurate understanding, implementation, and follow through.
Responsibilities
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Higher Education or related field
Required Experience: 2+ years related experience or equivalent combination, with integrated systems applications and analysis. Must include experience with Federal Student Aid operations and/or compliance experience within a higher education environment, or equivalent.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office software. Professional communication skills required. Strong team player as well as the ability to complete projects independently. Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audience. Able to complete tasks with aggressive timelines. Strong desire to serve students, faculty, and administrators in an university support setting. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and client support skills. Demonstrated ability to identify trends in operational data. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Critical listening skills required. Proven ability to retain policy knowledge and effectuate compliance to University policy.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Project Management experience and implementation. Ability to diagnose troubleshoot system errors with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Query, SQL experience, BRIO, Tableau or similar reporting tool. Ability to interact with a diverse population and all levels of personnel, and to demonstrate tact and diplomacy when in dealing with difficult issues and/or diverse organizations.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $82,500.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
