Position Information: The full salary range for the Procurement Team Supervisor is $100,100 - $190,500 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is from $100,100 - $145,000.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Under the supervision of the Chief Procurement Officer, the Procurement Team Supervisor applies professional procurement concepts and organizational objectives to complete complex assignments. Works on assignments where analysis of purchasing options requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting best methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. The Procurement Team Supervisor serves in a Buyer/Supervisors role where they are working Buyers processing orders while providing guidance and supervision to the Buyers that report directly to them.

Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Hired candidate must successfully pass a background check prior to appointment start date.

Thorough knowledge of purchasing function and products and services purchased.
Skills necessary to make recommendations regarding purchasing alternatives of significance to the organization.
Effective communication skills in order to present complex information in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing.
Ability to read, interpret, and negotiate terms and conditions of contracts.
Advanced negotiation skills.
Advanced technical understanding of commonly purchased products acquired and maintained.
Ability to work independently and with little or no supervision.
Previous supervisory experience in a procurement/purchasing role.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to provide direction to other members of the purchasing function.
Expert level of proficiency in the use of standard spreadsheet and word processing software.
Expert skills in the use of ERP/financial systems (such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.).
Ability to learn new commodities and skills as required.

Drafts and executes complex purchase orders and contracts, utilizing both custom and standard terms and conditions for materials, supplies, equipment, and services; responsible for contracts of critical importance and high complexity. Drafts complex Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs), including detailed specifications, terms and conditions, and evaluation criteria.

Documents interpretations of processes, policies, and procedures for edification of customers and suppliers. Develops spreadsheets and other documentation to support analysis.
