The National Apartment Association (NAA) is seeking a proactive and collaborative Affiliate & Member Relations Support Specialist to provide exceptional concierge-level service, support, and project management for NAA's affiliate network. This role involves building strong relationships with Association Executives (AEs) and affiliate staff to enhance their experience with NAA/NAAEI/NAAS products, services, and programs. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with various stakeholders.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Build and maintain strong business relationships within the Affiliate network and NAA, aligning with strategic plans and management objectives.
Provide concierge-level support to address Affiliate requests and concerns regarding NAA/NAAEI/NAAS services, products, and programs by troubleshooting issues and coordinating with NAA departments to escalate issues when necessary.
Provide technology support & training to affiliates, ensuring they can effectively use NAA's platforms and tools.
Investigate Affiliate and member data for errors/duplicates and make appropriate updates for accuracy.?
Provide assistance and support to Member Programs administration.
Collaborate with the Data & Applications Management (DAM) team on the Data Exchange project, acting as a liaison between DAM, Affiliate Resources, and affiliate leaders.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ongoing operations and new projects.
Support Affiliate & Member Engagement committees and task forces as needed.
Contribute to additional departmental needs as they arise.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of relevant experience.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, with diligent follow-through on tasks.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of experience in association management or a corporate membership environment, particularly within a membership-driven trade or professional association, or national non-profit organization.
Proficient technology skills with AMS (Salesforce preferred), CRM, Microsoft 365/Teams, and other software platforms.
Solid project management abilities and organizational skills, with the ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
TRAVEL:
Little to no travel is expected for this position.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Regularly required to sit, use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
