Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, educational technology, or a related field from an accredited institution with one-year relevant experience desirable, or two years of higher education with two years of related experience required. Certifications in project management, data analytics, or business analysis (e.g., ITIL, Six Sigma, IIBA, CCBA, CAPM, or PMP) are preferred. A combination of education, experience, certifications, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:
Works as part of the Online Professional Learning team to gather and document requirements, generate process-level documentation, participate in the development of educational technology (EdTech), and deliver analytical support for marketing online education, strategic projects, and learning technologies that include Genius SIS, third-party applications, and internal programming.
Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only):
Uses tools like Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, IBM Cognos, or PowerAutomate to analyze, visualize, automate, and report on data relating to marketing, educational technologies, and learning analytics. Supports the development of dashboards and interactive reports for internal and external stakeholders. Assists with the design, testing, and implementation of systems that enhance learning technologies and automation. Analyzes problems in collaboration with team members to identify learning technology solutions.Participates in and contributes to the planning, execution, and evaluation of departmental projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Collaborates with leadership to support transformative initiatives that expand online adult learning and continuing education. Engages with stakeholders to gather and define functional requirements for educational technology projects, automation, and analytics initiatives. Collaborates with project teams to create detailed process-level documentation and technical specifications. Conducts quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) for learning technologies and processes, recommending improvements when necessary. Identifies areas for operational efficiency and suggests innovative solutions to optimize workflows.Develops training materials and delivers guidance to functional staff to support educational technology adoption and project success. Acts as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication. Performs other related duties as assigned.
