Job Overview
Student Affairs is seeking a Senior HR Coordinator to oversee, streamline, and manage a variety of human resource functions.
Essential Functions
? Coordinate HR functions for an operating unit.
? Work with Talent Acquisition on job postings, recruitment, and selection process. May prepare job postings to fill vacancies.
? May facilitate employee evaluation process and review employee retention programs and policies.
? Coordinate timekeeping and/or payroll processing for organizational unit.
? Initiate systematic personnel changes for organizational unit. Analyze various HR data for quality improvement recommendations.
? Assist with implementing policies to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
? Coordinate project management functions for a unit.
? May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
? Perform related duties based on departmental need.
Required Education
Bachelor?s Degree.
Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
Three (3) years of Human Resources experience.
