Middle School Teachers are expected to
engage in inquiry-based pedagogy, including project-based learning and other experiential approaches, and embed mindfulness practices into the classroom experience. Knowledge of these approaches is beneficial, and a willingness to develop them is essential

We are looking for a Middle School Humanities Teacher who is confident in their teaching experience and able to
instruct sixth-grade English and seventh-grade Geography (subject to change within Middle School Humanities)
design engaging lessons that explore physical, cultural, and political geography
incorporate visual aids and digital tools
guide students in understanding global interconnections and regional differences
foster an appreciation for global diversity
develop lessons focused on reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary skills
introduce age-appropriate literature to build comprehension and critical thinking
encourage creativity through writing assignments, such as narratives and poems
teach students how to analyze texts for themes, characters, and plot
promote a love of reading and researching

Bachelor's Degree with a master's preferred
experience in the field of education within the humanities
excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
