POSITION OVERVIEW The Assistant Head of School is responsible for overseeing key daily operations and strategic initiatives in support of the mission and values of the school. Experienced in educational leadership and management, and passionate about developing projects across multiple areas, we seek an Assistant Head who is a collaborative team member and skilled bilingual communicator. Master’s degree in educational administration or a related field and 10+ years of experience in an administrative role, in addition to successful classroom teaching in a K-12-day school.
Strong leadership, presentation, project management, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of educational technology trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Experience in curriculum development, interactive pedagogy, and instructional design.
Familiarity with accreditation processes and educational standards.
Adaptive and able to prioritize responsibilities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Thoughtful, reflective, and approachable leader who is a good listener and effective speaker.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English.
Collaborative, cooperative, and values the local culture and community.
