Job Description:
Designs, plans, and documents, in partnership with key stakeholders, changes to departmental technology systems and related business processes.
Manages and facilitates the discovery, development, and testing of user stories to solve organization issues.
Studies the needs and objectives of key stakeholder groups to create plans detailing the design, modification and enhancement of systems and processes.
Assists in the management of detailed roadmap for planned system fixes and enhancements.
Identifies opportunities to gain value through innovations in process or system design.
Partners with the Director of Advancement Systems and Process Improvement on the governance process for evaluating and prioritizing potential changes to systems and processes.Â
Studies the needs and objectives of key stakeholder groups to inform strategy and plans.
Works cross-functionality with partner operational teams to align goals and strategies.
Advances a culture of data-driven decision-making, collaboration, and innovation throughout the organization.
Seeks opportunities for professional development that will enhance job performance including attending webinars, seminars, building networks within the University and with colleagues at peer institutions.
Has a deep understanding of business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses. Solves complex problems relating to computer equipment capacity, limitations, and operation time.
Utilizes thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements to translate business and user needs into system requirement specifications.
Recommends process improvements in existing applications and revises existing system logic difficulties as necessary. Designs, develops, and implements new applications, systems architecture, network systems, and applications infrastructures.
Communicates and presents on system enhancements and/or alternatives to colleagues in IT management.
Performs other related work as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Bachelorâ™s or advanced degree.
Experience:
Minimum five years of professional work experience in business analysis, product management, project management, or related roles.Â
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
Demonstrated skill and knowledge of, or ability to learn quickly, the internal workings of the University as well as the technology tools available to the Office of Alumni Relations and Development, including Phoenix (the University's Donor Relationship Management System), Microsoft Windows computer environment, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
Strong project management skills, with an aptitude for leading end-to-end project delivery.

Working Conditions
This position has a hybrid work schedule which includes weekly in office presence.
Standard office environment.
Travel to campus and/or non-campus locations for University business.
Work evenings and weekends as needed.
This position is located in Hyde Park at 5235 South Harper Court.
