Pine River Veterinary Clinic (a CareVet partner) is looking for a passionate mixed animal Veterinarian (30% large animal/70%small animal) to join our thriving clinic in Richland Center, WI. Come pay us a visit for a day or a week!
About the Position: We are seeking a veterinarian to join Pine River’s highly trained team. This position is perfect for a new graduate Veterinarian looking for mentoring. There are 3 experienced veterinarians and 1 new graduate veterinarian available for mentoring and consultations. The experienced doctors are available to help in surgery, appointments, herd checks, emergency calls and sick calls.
About the Team: Pine River Veterinary Clinic is a 4-doctor clinic. Our mission is to work as a team to provide routine and emergency service to our small and large animal clients. We strive to provide high quality and compassionate care. We place particular emphasis on preventative health care and client education. We have an experienced support staff team with minimal turnover.
About the Hospital: The practice provides wellness visits, emergency services, dental care, soft tissue and some orthopedic surgery, acupuncture, veterinary orthopedic manipulation as well as boarding and grooming for small animals. Large animal services are all ambulatory. They include herd health programs, medical, surgical, and emergency procedures. All herd checks are done with an ultrasound. The majority of the large animal work is with cattle. There is a small amount of small ruminant work available and very minimal equine work. The practice is housed in a spacious facility with electronic medical records, in-house lab, digital x-ray, tonometer, therapeutic laser and gas anesthesia with monitors. After hours on-call is large animal only.
About compensation: We offer $100,000 minimum base pay with no negative accrual. There is a generous signing bonus with student loan support, a relocation stipend and no upfront non-compete clause. Custom compensation packages are tailored to the needs of each individual Veterinarian. Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
