The Director of Development reports to the Head of School and is responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of programs specifically geared to increase constituent engagement, fundraising efforts, and meet financial development goals. The Director will identify and create opportunities to increase awareness of the school’s programs, services, and activities and work collaboratively with other team members across Admission and Marketing and Communication. Together, the team strives to advance the mission of TASIS Dorado, adhering to the school’s brand messaging and community engagement.

A bachelor's degree (BS or BA) is required, and a master's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience; prior experience working with a Board of Directors.
Experience with Fundraising and detailed management of donations and timely communications.
One to three years of special event and/or volunteer management experience.
Demonstrated experience and willingness to assess, plan, and actively lead the implementation of fundraising activities.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English; excellent public speaking and presentation skills, the ability to use discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a collaborative environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Docs, and digital media technology (Internet, Facebook, Instagram).
Familiarity with Veracross and strong data management skills.
Willing to travel both locally and internationally.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent project management and follow-up skills.
