Woodside Equine Clinic is seeking a dedicated and passionate veterinarian to join our dynamic ambulatory team. One of our valued veterinarians is stepping away to focus on her growing family. This creates a unique opportunity for the right candidate to become part of our close-knit team.

A Close-Knit Support Crew: We’ve got a stellar support team of 4 licensed veterinary technicians (LVTs), 2 veterinary interns, and an amazing group of veterinary assistants, schedulers, and barn staff who keep things running smoothly—and keep the energy positive.
Top-Notch Tech: We’re not just about fun—we’re serious about delivering excellent care. Our facility is equipped with the latest in digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, nuclear scintigraphy, shockwave therapy, and regenerative medicine capabilities. We will also be building a new surgical facility in 2025 to help support our ever-growing team and caseload.
Work-Life Balance: We understand the importance of balance. Our ambulatory team enjoys a well-managed, rotating on-call schedule and has the full backing of our surgery team for cases requiring referral to the hospital. We make sure you have time to recharge and pursue personal passions.

Woodside Equine Clinic is an ambulatory and hospital-based practice located near Richmond, VA. We currently employ 8 veterinarians, 4 licensed technicians, 2 interns and a great staff. We value our collaborative environment with 2 surgeons, a theriogenologist, and sports medicine orientated doctors with backgrounds in ISELP, chiropractic and acupuncture. Woodside Equine Clinic does strive to have a great working environment and encourages the veterinarians and staff to pursue their areas of interest.
Our case load is predominately English sport horse. Many of our clients show hunters but there are dressage, jumpers, trail and many other disciplines in the area. We see many warm bloods along with thoroughbreds, ponies and may other breeds.
Woodside Equine Clinic is a well managed practice and member of a Veterinary Management Group. We strive to have an enjoyable practice culture and encourage professional growth of our employees.
