Job Summary: PLNU is looking for a dedicated and organized team member with strong attention to detail and excellent customer service to support and grow within the School of Nursing team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and able to navigate systems and technology with ease. You are a fast learner and are willing to take on a variety of projects and directions as assigned. The role will be responsible for providing administrative support to faculty and staff, serve students, plan and execute departmental events, and manage the School of Nursing's digital presence both externally and within university systems.
Salary: Pay range $20.17 - $21.79 per hour Internal Classification: Career Track - Support; Job Level - 2

What We're Looking For:
Experience and knowledge of event planning, using various technologies, and working in an academic environment.
Proficiency in Google Suite.
Self-motivated and able to work with regular check-ins and supervision from department leaders or teammates to communicate back progress and updates.
Enthusiastic, passionate, and strong work ethic!
Proactive and self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
Strong verbal and communication skills!
Knowledge and experience working with a diverse population is preferred.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide administrative, logistical, and programmatic support to the Assistant Dean of Partnerships and Assessment, faculty, and staff.
Serve as primary contact for School of Nursing internal and external constituents.
Manage departmental data and information across various platforms.

Departmental: Yodex, Google Drive, Recruitment Materials, Handbooks, Calendars
Assist with the preparation of annual reports to various accrediting bodies.
Serve on various committees, including Alumni, Pinning, and Scholarship.
Plan, organize, and implement department events throughout the year as assigned.
Assist with the admission process for prospective transfer nursing candidates.
Lead prospective student visits.
Serve on clinical placement team by processing student and faculty compliance in Complio and preparing/submitting placement documentation to clinical agencies.
Maintain student advising processes and files.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Google Suite proficiency.
Ability to learn and use various technologies independently.
Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, neatness, and attention to detail.
Previous event planning and public relations experience required.
Excellent customer service skills.
Minimum two years office experience in an administrative function required.
Ability to complete tasks despite frequent interruptions and competing priorities.
Ability to communicate effectively and exercise maturity, good judgment, professionalism and tact in communicating with others.
Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement. In addition, staff agree to live in agreement with PLNU's Community Life Covenant.

Physical Requirements:
